Supporting Maritime Families Through Christmas Daddies
At Nicom IT, we believe in using our skills and resources to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. For over 20 years, we’ve proudly supported the Christmas Daddies Telethon – a beloved Maritime tradition that has brought hope and joy to children in need for more than six decades.
Each year, Nicom provides web and IT support for the telethon, helping power an event that raises funds to provide food, toys, and gifts to thousands of children across the Maritimes. The telethon, which airs annually on CTV, is entirely volunteer-run and reflects the generosity and compassion that define our region.
In 2023 alone, the event raised over $814,000 and helped more than 18,000 children through its partnership with The Salvation Army. It’s more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of community, caring, and connection.
