Client: The Oyster Group is a fulfillment bureau that partners with regional and special interest magazines to grow their circulation. Specializing in magazine fulfillment and database marketing, The Oyster Group customizes its offerings for each and every client.

The challenge was to develop a file conversion utility to take publication order data from the in house system and create and FTP that data to the publication vendor all in a simple, user friendly, interface using tools that the client, where possible, already owned.

The solution was an MS Access interface and database that built the proprietary delimited file format, queued the data for FTP and logged both a history and status of the results. A simple and efficient B2B solution!
