Pat's career in information technology spans over 25 years, starting out first as a technical solutions service provider and then later in management. Pat is a self-starter and a founder (in 1986) of DDA Solutions. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University, with a major in Computer Science, and an ISP designation from the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS).

Pat is now busy overseeing the business development activities of NicomIT. Active in the business community, particularly with CIPS, Pat is recognized by his peers for his outstanding long-time business contribution.

David Nicholson, ISP

With over thirty years of experience in the Information Technology industry, David's knowledge is extensive on the wide variety of technologies available in this field. His expertise is in managing software development and web site development projects. He also keeps up to date on the latest hardware and software technologies. He is very knowledgeable in computerized financial information systems and how to procure such systems for the needs NicomIT's clients.

David is fascinated with information technology and exploring how it can be used to benefit all types of organizations. With a strong background in business and management, he understands the economic issues and concerns related to managing a business. Wisely, David is able to find solutions to these issues for NicomIT's clients by using the new technology that is available.

Terry Norman, M.Sc.

Terry uses his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and his Master of Science in Business Administration from UBC to give Nicom its cutting edge. He is experienced in export marketing to the United States, having finalized sales contracts with more than 50 companies in the U.S. ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, GE, Merrill Lynch and Sun Microsystems.

Terry is also active in community affairs. He is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Director and Past President of the Entrepreneurs' Forum, a non-profit organization that assists entrepreneurs to develop their enterprises. He is also a Director of the Halifax United Way and Chair of the 211 Nova Scotia Steering Committee, a new initiative sponsored by United Way. Terry is also President of the Nova Scotia Trails Federation and the Canadian Trails Federation.
