Pat's career in information technology stretches over 30 years. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University, with a major in Computer Science, as well as ISP and ITCP designations from the Canadian Information Processing Society.
He oversees the business development activities of Nicom; and in the past five years, has been focused on the seaport sector where he has successfully established a division that offers professional advisory services and software products to the seaport industry.
Pat is very active in the business and technology communities in Halifax, and sits on the board of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters and the Transportation Committee of the Halifax Chamber. He also contributes a monthly column to the Chronicle Herald, called Business Technology, where he writes about what’s happening in the world of computers. With over thirty years of experience, David has broad insight into the wide variety of solutions available in the field of Information Technology. His expertise is in managing software development and website development projects, and he is well versed in the latest hardware and software technologies. He is very knowledgeable of computerized financial information systems and the procurement process, being able to identify and fit the needs of Nicom IT's clients.
David is fascinated with information technology and exploring how it can best be used to benefit all organizations. He oversees the service delivery team at Nicom IT.
